I guess this post is to Sarah. Just a note to let you know I do read your blogs and enjoy keeping up with the happenings of the Bakersfield Addisons!
Looking forward to seeing you next week. The other day Meg saw all the Christmas gifts lined up for wrapping and said, "Are we going to see Paul and Ruth? It has been sooooo long since I have seen them." She is glad for the opportunity as are the rest of us. (To see you and Bruce as well :))
Travis loves his work so much that he is in a quandry about taking Tuesday and Wednesday off. Hopefully he can relax enough to enjoy a trip with his family. I feel like our time together is fading away as he talks excitedly about moving out for college. He is very ready to be on his own. I already miss him!
Megan took a big jump in her life and quit dance. Thirteen years of 4-6 hours per week and now nothing. It was time as there have been some changes that are not necessarily positive at the studio. I am really proud of her for making a tough decision and following through gracefully. She wrote a beautiful letter of gratitude to the teacher/owner and rose above the strife that is occurring at the studio. Now Jim and I are the only dancers...I am not sure it will last.
I am battling a sore throat, etc. so I better get to bed. With the time change, my neighbor and I are back to our morning miles at 6:30 am, before we both leave for work! It is good to get the blood moving before being cooped up in the school for the day!
